THE MUNGGO CAPITAL OF THE COUNTRY

TRAVEL-WORN HEART MONTH

Loosen up with heavy traffic and hefty noise of Metro Manila, I found out myself inside a pickup jaunting the North Luzon Express Way heading north 11:00pm midnight joy ride. 

Another destination to round off my adventure. A 1st class municipality down north of  Luzon.
along with a dazed sugarcane plantation, we are traveling 16° 52' 59" North, 121° 35' 16" East of Luzon.

i'm awake for the rest of the night perceived a mellow music join boggled by sleepy mind.

it was dawn when we enter the province of Isabela, stop over City of Santiago for some rest and pointing the way again the direction of Ramon. This is my 2nd time around to visit the munggo capital of the country. The town of San Mateo.

stunned by the political stability, this town declared as the Philippines home of munggo (green beans). this seasonal agricutural product falls every pass with a production over 5,000 tons annually.

ito ngayon ang bitbit na "tag line" ng siudad ng Koronadal na ang ibig sabihin ay KAGANDAHAN. naging saksi ang siudad na ito sa paghubog ng aking pagkatao, mula ng natuto akong magaral hanggang ako'y naging propesyonal, katuwang ko sa tagumpay ang noong bayang ito.

taong 2000 ng naging syudad ang naturang bayan at naging sentro ng komersyo sa rehiyong 12.dahil din sa hindi stadong tayo ng kapayapaan sa syudad ng Kotabato, naging sentro narin ito ng mga opisina ng gobyernong national sa rehiyon dose. Nagsulputan ang iba't-ibang stablisementong pangkalakal at negosyo.

ngayong buwan ng Octobre, inaasahan na dadayuhin na naman ng napakaraming taoang lungsod. sa buwang ito tinalaga bilang lungsod ang Koronadal. Malayo-layo narin ang narating ng nasabing syudad. binato narin ito ng iba't-ibang batikos at isyung pangkapayapaan ngunit naging matatag ang mga namamahala dito at sa ngayon nagdiriwang ito ng kanyang ika-12 Charter Anniversary at kasunod dito ang isang kasiyahan sa negosyo na pangalawang taon nang ipinagdiriwang.

REGION 2 WELCOMES TORISTANG PINOY

BRISK FLORIDA BUS

Left by the scheduled bus due by unevitable circumstances at 8:45pm flight., race to a next chartered vehicle at Sampaloc, Manila Florida Bus terminal.

 

DESTINATION?   REGION 2

Exactly 9:05pm when we left Manila. Using North Luzon Express way as our alternative route for a busy traffic at that time. My co-passenger start to pull out their coat against cold after a 2 hour of 8-10 long hour travel. I'm awake for my phone ring all over.

The bellhop is worried considering the fact that its was my 1st time to visit  Region 2 and traveling alone in a night trip. After a time, the conductor play a cradle song and on the dim light. My eyes are getting heavy.

after few hours ride, the bus start to ascend on a zig zag mountainous Dalton Pass ending a stop over at Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya. Went out and feels the freezing wind breeze, my body start to modify for an icy weave.

few minutes later, engine starts. . .few miles away from Region 2. . .dreaming of what to expect too. . .

it was sunrise when i arrive the town of San Mateo, Isabela. Sir Emil was there waiting for me that early. . .
